Taxonomy
Euomphalus nodocarinatus was named by Wanner (1922). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bitauni, Timor (Molengraaf and Wanner coll), which is in an Artinskian/Kungurian marine horizon in the Atahoc Formation of Indonesia.
It was recombined as Phymatifer nodocarinatus by Hayasaka (1967).
