Felberia excelsa
Taxonomy
Felberia excelsa was named by Lombardo and Tintori (2004). Its type specimen is MCSN 5034a,b, a skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Meride D, Val Mara, Monte San Giorgio (MCSN), which is in a Longobardian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal limestone in the Meride Formation of Switzerland.
