Taxonomy
Premontreia (Premontreia) uralica was named by Malyshkina (2006). Its type specimen is PIN 5088/01, a tooth (lower anterior−lateral tooth ), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kurgan, south of, which is in a Priabonian marine sandstone/claystone in the Tavda Formation of the Russian Federation.
