Teoichthys brevipina
Taxonomy
Teoichthys brevipina was named by Machado et al. (2013). Its type specimen is IGM 6741, a skeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Tlayúa Quarry (IGM, general), which is in an Albian/Albian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal lime mudstone in the Tlayúa Formation of Mexico.
