| S. Archangelsky and J. C. Gamerro 1965 | Spore trilete. Lesuras outgoing almost to the proximal edge of the cingulum. Equatorial outline subtriangular, with rounded angles and convex sides. Distal face strongly convex and proximal face subpiramidal. Cingulate finely granulate; proximal edge cingulate irregular. Proximal face with faceted provided of three areas thickened strongly as a pulvinules, which are fossulate-faveolate, corroded aspect and some separated of the lesuras. Pulvinules thicker towards Ecuador that toward the proximal pole. Other facets slightly smooth or granulate. Distal face tectate with irregular columellae with base coalescing and tectum with perforations infundibular, which give it a faveolate look. Endexina of 0.7-1.0 micrometers thick.
