Phyllopteroides antarctica
Discussion
Diagnosis: Pinnules narrow to wide oblong; apices obtuse, blunt, and rounded (Plate IAD). Secondary veins acute, inserted at 128 to 338, marginal vein density 1828 per 10 mm. Margins are either denticulate or
dentate, teeth less than 1 mm long and wide; one vein per tooth.
Taxonomy
Phyllopteroides antarctica was named by Cantrill and Nagalingum (2005). It is not extant. Its type specimen is Fern, a plant debris.
