Capsispora vulcanica
Taxonomy
Capsispora vulcanica was named by Llorens (2008). It is not extant. Its type locality is Punta del Barco Norte, which is in an Aptian fluvial conglomerate/sandstone in the Punta del Barco Formation of Argentina. It is the type species of Capsispora.

Globose and rigid perispore, more or less folded and ornamented, but never interrupted or specialized above the aperture.
