Taxonomy
Parafrechites evolutus was named by Konstantinov (1991). Its type specimen is TsSGM 50/811 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Artist-Agatyn-Yurege Creek, sublaqueatus subzone, Kengdey river basin, which is in an Illyrian marine siliciclastic in the Russian Federation.
