Neolicaphrium recens

Taxonomy
Neolicaphrium recens was named by Frenguelli (1921). Its type specimen is MLP 34-V-22-12, a mandible (incomplete left mandibular ramus), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Right margin of Río Primero (3.5 km E of Córdoba Station), which is in a Pleistocene/Pleistocene terrestrial horizon in the Pampean Formation of Argentina. It is the type species of Neolicaphrium.
