Lutungutali
Taxonomy
Lutungutali was named by Peecook et al. (2013) [Lutungutali is characterized by a single autapomorphy: iliac blade taller dorsoventrally, as measured from lowest point of dorsal margin to midpoint of supraacetabular crest, than dorsoventral height of iliac contribution to acetabulum (ratio 1.43:1). It also possesses the following combination of character states: a distinct, ventrolateral surface of the postacetabular process of ilium with laterally oriented brevis fossa (character 177:1); and thin, blade-like ischial shaft (character 291:2). Lutungutali can be distinguished from Asilisaurus based on a laterally oriented brevis fossa and a thin, blade-like ischial shaft, and from Silesaurus by a vertical iliac blade.].
It was assigned to Silesauridae by Peecook et al. (2013); and to Sulcimentisauria by Martz and Small (2019).
