Chaceia fulcherae
Taxonomy
Chaceia fulcherae was named by Kennedy (1993). Its type specimen is CAS 54825.01, a shell (paired valves in posteriorly truncated sediment-filled boring), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is CAS loc. 28485. 1 mile south of Oil City, north of Coalinga, which is in a Miocene marine horizon in the Temblor Formation of California.
