Taxonomy
Corbula (Corbula) jurassica was named by Repin (2013). Its type specimen is VNIGRI 837/189, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Parvade Coal Field, Badamu limestone Fm, which is in an Aalenian/Bajocian marine horizon in the Badamu limestone Formation of Iran.
