Decurtella was named by Gaetani (1966) [Sepkoski's age data: Tr Anis-m Tr Ladi Sepkoski's reference number: 538]. It is not extant.

It was assigned to Rhynchonellida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Austrirhynchidae by Williams et al. (2002).
