Argyrotheca quadrata
Taxonomy
Argyrotheca quadrata was named by Cooper (1988). Its type specimen is USNM 550881b, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Lanier Pit (USNM collection), which is in a Bartonian marine wackestone in the Castle Hayne Formation of North Carolina.
