Taxonomy
Pseudoarchaeoctonus denticulatus was named by Kjellesvig-Waering (1986). Its type specimen is GSE 2038 and is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Glencartholm, Eskdale, which is in an Arundian marine carbonate in the Glencartholm Volcanic Beds Formation of the United Kingdom.
