Mesophonus perornatus
Taxonomy
Mesophonus perornatus was named by Wills (1910). Its type specimen is SM Wills 206 and is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Bromsgrove Quarry, which is in an Anisian pond shale in the Bromsgrove Sandstone Formation of the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Mesophonus.
