Mazonia wardingleyi
Taxonomy
Eoscorpius (Mazonia) wardingleyi was named by Woodward (1907). Its type specimen is BMNH In. 18561 and is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Sparth Bottoms, Rochdale (BMNH coll), which is in a Westphalian A delta plain shale in the United Kingdom.
It was recombined as Alloscorpius wardingleyi by Petrunkevitch (1953); it was recombined as Mazonia wardingleyi by Kjellesvig-Waering (1986) and Dunlop et al. (2013).
