Taxonomy
Aspiscorpio eagari was named by Kjellesvig-Waering (1986). Its type specimen is MM L8182, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Sparth Bottoms, Rochdale (MM coll), which is in a Westphalian A delta plain shale in the United Kingdom.
