Brontoscorpio anglicus
Taxonomy
Brontoscorpio anglicus was named by Kjellesvig-Waering (1972). Its type specimen is BMNH In.31405, a set of appendages (pedipalp free finger), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Birmingham Water Works, Trimpley, which is in a Lochkovian terrestrial sandstone in the St. Maughans Formation of the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Brontoscorpio.
