Taxonomy
Eoscorpius casei was named by Kjellesvig-Waering (1986). Its type specimen is PU 87266 and is an impression. Its type locality is West Bay, Parrsboro (PU collection), which is in a Westphalian A terrestrial shale in the Parrsboro Formation of Canada.
