Taxonomy
Chaerilobuthus complexus was named by Lourenço and Beigel (2011). It is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Burmese amber, Kachin amber (Beigel SMF coll), which is in a Cenomanian terrestrial amber in Myanmar. It is the type species of Chaerilobuthus.
