Taxonomy
Gallioscorpio voltzi was named by Lourenço and Gall (2004). It is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Bust, which is in an Aegean delta plain claystone/siltstone in the Grès à Voltzia Formation of France. It is the type species of Gallioscorpio.
