Protoischnurus axelrodorum
Taxonomy
Protoischnurus axelrodorum was named by de Carvalho and Lourenço (2001). Its type specimen is MN-7601-I and is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Crato (MN-UFRJ collection), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large carbonate in the Crato Formation of Brazil. It is the type species of Protoischnurus.
