Sinoscorpius shandongensis
Taxonomy
Sinoscorpius shandongense was named by Hong (1983). It is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Shanwang, Linqu County, collection 5, which is in a Burdigalian lacustrine - large mudstone in the Shanwang Formation of China. It is the type species of Sinoscorpius.
It was corrected as Sinoscorpius shandongensis by Dunlop et al. (2013).
