Placothyris kegeli
Taxonomy
Placothyris kegeli was named by Harper et al. (2005). Its type specimen is MGUH 27498, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Locality 6, Brorson Halvø, Wollaston Forland, which is in a Valanginian offshore shelf mudstone in the Palnatokes Bjerg Formation of Greenland.
