Taxonomy
Prionolobus undatus was named by Waagen (1895). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Virgal, Ceratite Marls, Salt Range, which is in a Dienerian carbonate limestone in the Ceratite Marls Formation of Pakistan.
It was recombined as Collignonites undatus by Bando (1977).
