Taxonomy
Araxathyris glossexserta was named by Zeng et al. (1995). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Mulongdong section, Changxing bed 11, Huaying Mountains, which is in a Changhsingian carbonate limestone in the Changxing Formation of China.
