Taxonomy
Parasemionotus besairiei was named by Lehman et al. (1959). It is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Beroroha and Mandronarivo area, which is in a Dienerian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal shale/limestone in the Middle Sakamena Formation of Madagascar.
