Qilianoconcha was named by Jin et al. (1979) [Sepkoski's age data: Tr Anis Sepkoski's reference number: 538]. It is not extant. Its type is Qilianoconcha corcula.
It was assigned to Rhynchonellida by Sepkoski (2002); to Paranorellininae by Williams et al. (2002); and to Aulacothyrinae by Guo and Chen (2022).
