Finkelnburgia macleodi
Taxonomy
Orthis macleodi was named by Whitfield (1889). It is not extant. Its type locality is Division D Beds, "Ophileta beds", Section northeast of Shoreham, which is in a Stairsian carbonate limestone/dolomite in the Fort Ann Formation of Vermont.
It was recombined as Dalmanella macleodi by Bassler (1915); it was recombined as Finkelnburgia macleodi by Ulrich and Cooper (1938).
