Taxonomy
Cetiocaridae was named by Vinther et al. (2014) [The family Cetiocaridae is defined as the stem-based taxon including all taxa closer to Tamisiocaris borealis than to Anomalocaris canadensis, Amplectobelua symbrachiata, or Hurdia victoria.]. It is not extant. Its type is Tamisiocaris. It was considered monophyletic by Vinther et al. (2014).

It was assigned to Radiodonta by Vinther et al. (2014).
