Tambacarnifex unguifalcatus
Taxonomy
Tambacarnifex unguifalcatus was named by Berman et al. (2014). Its type specimen is MNG 10596, a partial skeleton (greater part of postcranial skeleton preserved both in bone and as impressions on counterpart blocks), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bromacker Quarry (upper level of Tambach sandstone), which is in an Asselian fluvial-lacustrine sandstone in the Tambach Formation of Germany. It is the type species of Tambacarnifex.
