Kryptodrakon progenitor
Taxonomy
Kryptodrakon progenitor was named by Andres et al. (2014). Its type specimen is IVPP V18184, a partial skeleton (Incomplete postcranium), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Wucaiwan locality, eastern Junggar Basin, which is in an Oxfordian alluvial fan mudstone in the Shishugou Formation of China. It is the type species of Kryptodrakon.
