Taxonomy
Parajulus cockerelli was named by Miner (1926). Its type specimen is AMNH 22564 and is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Florissant (AMNH Collection), which is in a Chadronian lacustrine - large shale in the Florissant Formation of Colorado.
