Taxonomy
Euphoberia horrida was named by Scudder (1882). It is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Morris, Mazon Creek (J.C. Carr coll), which is in a Westphalian D interdistributary bay mudstone in the Carbondale Formation of Illinois.
