Evgenavis nobilis
Taxonomy
Evgenavis nobilis was named by O'Connor et al. (2014). Its type specimen is ZIN PH 1/154, a set of limb elements (an isolated right tarsometatarsus missing only the proximal half of metatarsal IV), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Shestakovo-3, which is in a Barremian/Aptian fluvial-lacustrine sandstone/siltstone in the Ilek Formation of the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Evgenavis.
