Cycloholcus nummus
Taxonomy
Cycloholcus nummus was named by Knight (1947). Its type specimen is USNM 111957, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Locality 119b, Cub Creek, 1.5 miles southeast of Morristown, which is in a Dresbachian marine shale in the Nolichucky Formation of Tennessee. It is the type species of Cycloholcus.
