Epimanteoceras formosus
Taxonomy
Epimanteoceras formosus was named by Granger and Gregory (1943). Its type specimen is AMNH 21613, a skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ulan Shireh (SSPE), which is in an Eocene terrestrial horizon in the Shara Murum Formation of China. It is the type species of Epimanteoceras.
