Taxonomy
Norasaphus (Norasaphites) monroeae was named by Fortey and Shergold (1984). Its type specimen is CPC 22668, a cephalon/head (cranidium), and it is a mold. Its type locality is Locality 158/9, which is in an Arenig shallow subtidal sandstone/siltstone in the Nora Formation of Australia. It is the type species of Norasaphus (Norasaphites).
