Diagnosis
Reference | Diagnosis | |
---|---|---|
D. Pagnac 2005 | The diastema between the last lower incisor and first lower premolar is longer than that of M. agatensis, roughly 65% of the length of the lower tooth row, as opposed to 50% in M. agatensis. The dentition is hypsodont, higher crowned than that of M. agatensis but not as tall as that of M. yavapaiensis. The I1-2 are present but reduced. The c1 and p1-2 are present, but the p2 is reduced. The molars are anteroposteriorly expanded with weak metastyles. The metapodials are intermediate in length between those of M. agatensis and M. yavapaiensis. |
