Taxonomy
Togaticeras goisernense was named by Rakús (1999). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Zlambach Graben near Goisern (Planorbis-Liasicus zones), which is in a Planorbis/Liasicus carbonate marl in the Zlambach Formation of Austria.
