Taxonomy
Boubeithyris pleta was named by Middlemiss (1980). Its type specimen is Gentil Collection no. S.553/3 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sidi Bou Rjaa, Oued Tidzi, Gentil Collection, which is in a Barremian deep subtidal shelf marl/limestone in Morocco.
