Taxonomy
Argyrotheca obourgensis was named by Simon (2000). Its type specimen is IRScNB IST n^010812 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Craibel Quarry, Cuesmes (Craie d'Obourg), which is in a Campanian carbonate chalk in the Obourg Formation of Belgium.
