Taxonomy
Lytoceras (Gaudryceras) subtilineatum was named by Kossmat (1895).

It was recombined as Anagaudryceras subtilineatum by Kennedy and Klinger (1979), Henderson and McNamara (1985) and Salazar et al. (2010).
