Gondwanaspis mrirtensis
Taxonomy
Gondwanaspis mrirtensis was named by Feist (2002) [= “Dudleyaspis” aff. harborti (Richter, 1909); Feist and Schindler 1994: 211, pl. 4: 1–2.]. Its type specimen is UM2−RF 170, a cephalon/head, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Mrirt area, which is in a Frasnian platform/shelf-margin reef lime mudstone in the Bou Nebedou Formation of Morocco.
It was recombined as Taemasaspis mrirtensis by Jell and Adrain (2002).
