Nemipterus caribbaeus
Taxonomy
Nemipterus caribbaeus was named by Nolf and Dockery (1993). Its type specimen is IRSNB P 6116, an otolith, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Matthews Landing, which is in a Selandian coastal marl in the Porters Creek Formation of Alabama.
