Iridodon datzae
Taxonomy
Iridodon datzae was named by Morlo and Gunnell (2003). Its type specimen is UMMP 103465, a mandible, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cathedral Bluffs (UNSM), which is in a Bridgerian terrestrial horizon in the Wasatch Formation of Wyoming. It is the type species of Iridodon.
