Floweria magnacicatrix
Taxonomy
Floweria magnacicatrix was named by Cooper and Dutro (1982). Its type specimen is USNM 200855, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Loc. 509h. 0.63 mile N. 75° E of the mouth of Mule Canyon. Sacramento Mountains, which is in a Frasnian marine shale in the Sly Gap Formation of New Mexico.
