Taxonomy
Lepas sattmanni was named by Harzhauser and Schloegl (2012). Its type specimen is NHMW 2003z0026 ⁄ 0487, an other, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Traun-Pucking, which is in an Aquitanian offshore claystone in the Ebelsberg Formation of Austria.

Schloegl 2012Medium-sized Lepas with narrow, elongate carina with prominent growth lines; scuta elongate sub- triangular with broad basal margin, weak apico-umbonal ridge and blunt rim close to the basal margin in the inner surface. Terga long, narrow, angulated and nearly smooth.
