Taxonomy

Thadiqithyris was named by Nazer (1987). It is not extant. Its type is Thadiqithyris thadiqiensis.

It was assigned to Postepithyrididae by Alméras et al. (2010).

Synonyms

Pleuraloma was named by Cooper (1989) [Sepkoski's age data: J Call-m Sepkoski's reference number: 877]. It is not extant.

It was synonymized subjectively with Plectoidothyris by Williams et al. (2006); it was synonymized subjectively with Thadiqithyris by Alméras et al. (2010).

It was assigned to Terebratulida by Sepkoski (2002).
